Tech Mahindra this week bought Satyamn for something like 56 billion rupies. I think this is just over $1 billion. That is pretty good considering Satyam's recent problems, and recession and the reports that close to some 10% of their staff have been lost since their troubles started. Satyam, apparently have forfeited 46 clients including Nissan and Sony since Mr Raju came clean.

I understand Tech Mahindra was looking to expand beyond "Telecom" their speciality field (British Telecom is their biggest client, and owns 31% of the company).

Good for them. I wish them best of luck.

Makes you wish IBM would hurry up and make up their mind regarding Sun.
